В России впервые удалось создать замкнутое радиолокационное поле системы предупреждения о ракетном нападении, заявил генеральный конструктор концерна «РТИ» Сергей Боев.

«В прошлом году мы ввели в эксплуатацию три радиолокационные станции дальнего обнаружения. В соответствии с поручением президента мы создали замкнутое радиолокационное периферийное поле России, чего не удавалось сделать ранее», — приводит слова Боева ТАСС.

Ранее Боев заявил, что система предупреждения о ракетном нападении «Воронеж-СМ» появится в Крыму в ближайшие годы. РЛС «Воронеж-СМ» планируется построить в Крыму к концу 2020 года
В настоящее время таких РЛС несут боевое дежурство в Ленинградской, Калининградской и Иркутской областях, а также в Краснодарском крае.

Семейство «Воронеж-СМ» состоит из станций метрового («Воронеж-М», «Воронеж-ВП»), дециметрового («Воронеж-ДМ») и сантиметрового («Воронеж-СМ») диапазона волн. Длинноволновые станции обеспечивают высокую дальность обнаружения объектов, коротковолновые позволяют точнее определить параметры цели.

Использование станций семейства «Воронеж» позволяет России не только существенно расширить возможности ракетно-космической обороны, но и сосредоточить наземные средства СПРН на территории Российской Федерации.

Технология монтажа из узлов высокой заводской готовности обеспечивает высокий темп строительства. Минобороны РФ намерено полностью заменить ими все советские РЛС дальнего обнаружения пусков ракет.
